What would make my car hum only during right hand turns?
No matter how fast I'm going the car will hum in a right hand turn, but not in a left hand turn? I have two broken teeth on the ring gear and just figured it was that. Not so sure anymore, the noise is coming from the rear. Why does it only make noise in one direction and not both. The alignment was done recently and the car goes straight, but could it be a front end problem? Thanks for your opinons.

check if your tire is rubbing on somthing.
the axle can shift side to side a good deal... stock panhard bar/bushings suck. the only reason they dont rub when stock is the large tire clearance..

I know that when front wheel bearings go bad this happens. It is due to the increase side loading when turning. Perhaps another can confirm if the same happens to the rear bearings?

Tire rubbing, never thought of that, always thought it was the teeth. I changed the calipers to LS1's, I had to re-route the brake lines, could be those. Thanks for idea. About the hub, I'll shack the tire too see. I have aftermarket LCA's and upper and lower panhard.

Mine does the same thing, except only when going left. I've kind of gotten used to it, its done it since I've had it. Its completely stock.
