How can I get the car this high? (Teke?)

I am supposed to have my car up around 36" for my header install. Is this correct or will something lower work?

Teke, when you did your install/write up, what was the max lift on your floor jack? I am ready to do this tomorrow just want to make sure everything is going to be high enough.

i had to use multiple combinations of floor jack, cinder blocks and a piece of 6x6 beam that i had laying around to get the car high enough.

that was after several attempts to slide the headers in. just kindda work on it till you get it high enough.

it helps to have the rear up a little too...gives a bit more room.

My Craftsman professional jackstands were fine, but my jack wasn't high enough. I ended stacking wood under the jack and between the jack and the car. It worked out pretty well. I didn't even lift the back of the car at all. I pulled the e-brake and blocked the rear tires, and then just went crazy with the front end. Here's a pic of the headers going in, so you can see what my setup was. You might have to copy the link and paste into a new web browser to see it.

Here's a picture of my car when I did a motor swap. I put the rear on ramps and jackstands on blocks for the front.

Looks like it was in a U-Haul type storage shed

Yep, it's a storage unit. Long, but not wide.
No electricity, only one light. Lotsa fun!
I did a stall and cam/lts in the same place.

Probably works better with a smaller car. Last one I was in had no air flow at all so it was hotter than hell.
