Who has or is removing the bumpers for there 4th gen
OK thinking of pulling the bumper on my 95 T/A (weight) front&rear, what are you puting in there to hold everthing in place....

The front and rear foam+cross-bar assemblies are about 20# each. In the back, I braced the bottom of the bumper to the hatch well with a couple of aluminum struts:

In the front, I used about a 2-ft long aluminum angle to make a sandwich of the lower bumper cover-aluminum angle-radiator baffle, and bolt them together with 3 bolts, then tied the ends of the aluminum angle up to the sub-frame holes where the cross-bar used to mount, using nylon tie strips.
About a year later, the back is still fine, but the front looks like it has sagged slightly, opening up about a 1/8" wider gap between the hood/fenders and the bumper. I am looking at some sort of lightweight "frame" to push up on the bumper, bolting it to the sub-frame holes. A friend of mine with a 30th SS did something similar.
