How are you using the Aircraft Stripper?

That's what we used on my buddies WS6 wheels and it work perfectly.

This is the kind we used...

Hmmm...well, what we did with his was sprayed it on pretty thick, and then let is sit for about 15-20 minutes outside - not in direct sunlight.

After that we used a soft plastic scraper (aka. bondo blade) and scraped all the gunk off. Then we washed them off with a waterhose and terry cloth towel.

After about 3 rounds of this they were completely stripped. Wasn't real simple - just time consuming mainly though.

If the Mother's Billet Polish doesn't work (note - the BILLET polish - it's a little more "polish" than the regular) then you will probably have to go with the bars.

Eastwood has a nice variety - but their site isn't working today for some reason.

Have fun with that - just get you all the proper wheels, proper bars of polish and go to town - expect to spend some time with them.

You are gonna need to start sanding that one with finer and finer grits where you scratched it - and then do a full repolish on it. Go to www.eastwoodco.com for more info.
Here's a guide from Eastwood.

I have no idea what to tell you about the painted gold portion - but for the rest of it - I would recommend the Aircraft Remover mentioned above. It's about $4 a can at Wal-Mart in the automotive section.
