No tubes with ET streets??jkbadz28 09-18-2002, 04:28 PM Will this be ok I will be mounting them on some factory wheels. And what psi should I run. Maybe some 10's :D:D:D:D Depends on traction and how brave I feel;) jkbadz28 09-18-2002, 04:54 PM Thanks Jeff did you check the other post in the N20 section? Were are you going this weekend the ROCK? Later Jason TedH 09-18-2002, 05:08 PM I started running tubes back when I had 320hp becauxse they would spin on the rim. I also went to tubes and rim screws. I have not had a problem since doing this. What size ET Streets? jkbadz28 09-18-2002, 05:10 PM 26x10.5x16 Jason FRDnemesis 09-18-2002, 05:45 PM Yep, going to the THE ROCK this weekend. I am leaving Thursday after work to head that way. Wish I had a truck and trailer!!! You going if it doesnt rain? Shhhhhhhh pretend I didnt say that;) rskrause 09-18-2002, 08:23 PM I dunno, but to me it makes sense to use rim screws and tubes. After all, we're talkin tires inflated to 12psi on a 4000+lb car going >130mph  Seems like cheap "insurance" to me! Rich Krause Bob Cosby 09-19-2002, 09:11 AM I used to run tubes and screws with slicks and ET streets, however, I never do anymore. Unless the tires are turning on the rim (which is possible without screws), then I could do without the weight and hassle of tubes. FWIW...I've never "blown" a slick or ET Street in tubeless form. I have blown a tube at the big end of the track. Joe Brodman 09-19-2002, 05:07 PM I run ET Streets, 26x11.5x16 on 16x9.5 Centerlines, no tubes but WITH rim screws. Yes, they leak slightly, about 1psi a day. Of course, that doesn't mean jack when it comes to drag racing, since you are only running the tires for a few hours. Derrick Redd 09-20-2002, 04:30 PM I never had a problem running without tubes. Ran 26x10x16 ET Drags and 26x11.5x16 ET Streets. GJE94Z28 09-22-2002, 12:57 PM Mine our tubeless, run about 12-15lbs. | ||
