Hey everybody! I just purchased 17 inch rims in the front and 18 inch rims in the rear. I was going with 275/40/17 in the front and 295/35/18 in the rear. Are 295's to big in the rear and will there be rubbing problems? I also lowered the car about 1.5 to 1.75 inches. Hoping for some suggestions, thanks!
Whether anything rubs or doesn't rub depends on the wheel width and the wheel offset/backspace. You need to provide the width and offset.
In general, most manufacturers recommend a 10" width for a 295/35-18.

I purchased C5 corvette wheels. They are 17x8.5 in the front 56mm is the offset and 18x9.5 in the rear 54mm is the offset. I'm hoping to fit 295's in the rear, and 275's in the front, any suggestions? Will 295's rub with no modifications?
Those sizes should work, I would not go bigger then 275 in the front on an 8.5 inch rim but you could...as for the back, I would not go smaller then 275 on a 9.5...I'd try to go 295...the 275's shouldn't rub, thats what I'm running on all fours on mine, the 295's I don't think you'll have issues with either.
