Looking for a good, well priced component set to install in my f-body, as well as a good amp to power the set.

I know all about the Focals, and would love to get them if the price was right. I was wondering about CDT. I have heard good things about the brand, but they have alot of models.

I found a CDT Audio CL-61A, (2-way Component System) for $149.99 here : http://www.thezeb.com/detail.aspx?ID=1083 (http://)

Is this a good component set? And what would be a good amp to power this set only?

Here is my system:

Blaupunkt HU
2 JL Audio 12" w3v2 subs
JL Audio 500/1 Amp powering the subs
Subthump sealed box

I should only need a good component set to fill out the system right?

I have read conflicting views as to the need for "rear" fill ins. Is this true?

I just bought the subs and amp and I have yet to install them so I am hoping the subs will be hard hitting. With the components, I am hoping for an overall good sounding system. I am not looking to enter any contest, i just want a better than average sound system. Will this fill my need?

Any help, advice, or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks..

I've never personally heard those components, but I have seen some pretty good reviews of them at the car audio forums that I frequent.

Yes, the components should fill out the system nicely, the thing with the rear fill is this, sound imaging...

Think of it this way... when you go to a concert, does the music come from behind you? No, so why try to re-produce it that way.

Without complicating this too much, the only way to run full-range rears is with a processor, and the only need to would be a DVD 5.1 Dolby Surround setup, which 99.999% of people don't have, or have the want/need for.
