Draining a gas tank

My SS has been in storage for over a year with a full tank of fuel and stabil added. I really don't want to run this old gas through the system when I get her out of storage. What is the best way to remove the fuel from the tank? I plan on doing the fuel filter replacement soon after. Thanks.

Siphon it out with a hose into some kind of container.
