You need to use a code chart that is specific to the 94 F-Body LT1. The description of DTC 43 you have is for 3rd Gen F-Bodys. In the 94, DTC 43 is the knock sensor. Wire could be loose, sensor could be faulty.

It is the Knock sensor. Odds are it is degrading or failed already.
I just replaced mine Sunday. I messed with shielding wires, relocating plug wires, and it helped for about a day. Then it just went TU (T!TS UP) Saturday night. Changed it out Sunday and code is GONE~~~~~~~ Thank GOD~ That is one dam aggrivating failure; and a messy swap (anti-freeze).
The best way to change it is with two people. Jack the car up; support it with jackstands of course. Remove the KS (22mm socket). You may need to drop the starter to get ahold of it with vicegrips or a pipe wrench because they can stick like nobodies business.
Anyway, as one of you unscrew it by hand; back it out to the very last thread and hold it. Let the other person get ready to put the other one in. As soon as you take one out; shove the other one in as fast as you can. You should only lose a couple of cups of anti-freeze at the most. Most of it landing on you;)
Screw it in, reset your computer, then start it up!
