Could use some thoughts on T-70 setup:
I've got a nice pile of parts and I just need to finish off this setup. If you've got any reccomendations/thoughts etc on what please feel free to let me know!
My thought was to run 12-14psi on the street on pump gas, that should honestly be enough on the street. Otherwise the car is a droptop with welded subframe connectors, but I’m guessing any more power then 12-14psi will eventually obliterate the chassis. I know I will get a 6pt cage in there at some point soon. I talked my thoughts out with Seth from Cmotorsports yesterday and he flushed this out with me to get it to this point. Massive props to those guys again. They always rock. He thinks peak HP should hit around 6200rpm and peak TQ around 3400rpm. The car will barely see any track time.

I don’t know if there is a really good ignition setup out there, I’ve seen the LTCC and the Dynaspark, and have yet to make a strong decision either way – ignition I have yet to decide on. I also know I’ll be pushing the stock fuel lines toward their limit… and I know at some point I’ll probably want to go with a FAST… But I know well done with proper additions and support the ECU will be fine and dandy for tuning (of course I’ll max out the MAF by like 3400rpm and then it gets dangerous...) I have a friend that insists I should go to a megasquirt, but I’m not too familiar with them or if it’d do any good on an LT1. That’s the start of my setup to this point. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Setup looks pretty good. I would think your will need more fuel pump. I would highly recommend going with a twin intank pump. As far as ignition setups I think the LTCC box is the way to go. You also may want to look at the systems offered by Delteq. Don't forget you will need an impedance converter to run 72 lb injectors.
your setup sounds almost identical to what I am in mid swing of building... Its a 96 collectors edition vette with the LT4 motor, so LT4 stage 3 heads and Intake....
355 forged 9:1 CR motor
52mm TB
meziere pump
high volume blue printed oil pump
hardened drive shaft
stock LT4 cam (203/210 @.050" .476"/.479" 115 LSA
crane 1.6 7/16" stud gold race rockers
comp R lifters
Aeromotive AFPR
3.45 gears (stock)
mcleod street twin
57 lb injectors (High Z)
GS340 pump with boost-a-pump
T-70 w.96 housing
Wastegate???
BOV???
Intercooler????
planning on running about 9-12 PSI until i have the rest of the dough to upgrade to the acceleronics box and some 72 lb'ers.. may also run a meth injection to help keep it running cool and help enrichen it some.. also using the stock ECM and will have it dialed in on the dyno by a local LT1 boost tuner wiz. hoping for somewhere in the 550-650 range once all is in place and tuned in.
glad to see someone else going a similar route!! keep us posted.. will do the same!
