Will pcm throw wrong codes if it goes badSLeeper94Z 03-02-2004, 11:45 PM Lets say i get my car scanned and it throws codes , is there anyway if the ecm is damaged throw false codes, or a damaged wire harness throw false codes Hal Fisher 03-03-2004, 01:14 PM Well it certainly could. Try pulling out the pcm with the harness while its running and move it around to see if codes start popping up then. Also, low voltage to it would cause them as well. Hal Yep, like he said, low voltage/bad ground could also cause this, but I've also seen many PCMs that were throwing a bunch of codes when they died. pntballty 03-04-2004, 09:41 PM Madwolf you have mail :D | ||
