Hitting Rev Limiter on 1-2 Shift...

... the thing is NOTHING has been changed in the computer, rev limiter raised to 6500+ two years ago and it NEVER hit the limiter last year! Shifts are at approx. 6200 rpm.

I changed back the only item I changed out this spring and that was to put the MSD coil back on replacing the stocker, but have not been to the track since! Could using a stock coil cause me this problem? http://web.camaross.com/bb/confused.gif

Only does it under full throttle? Do you have a copy of your PCM file to look at?

What's the shape of your tranny? Could it be slipping a little and not completing the shift before it hits the rev limiter?
