Can I fit 275/60r/15's on 15x7 rims?

I have a chance at some brand new BFG Radial TA's that are 275/60r/15. I currently have the same tires on the rear except they are 265/45/15's.

I was just wondering if these tires would fit without any problems.

Kbog you diddnt have any problems with the 265/45/15's? i also have the 15x7 rims (in gold) and i currently have the stock 215/65/15 and as you can imagine i want to put something with more meat on the rear, but i was afraid that the 265 might bulge too much, or not look that good. did you experience either of those situations? would you happen to have any pics of them or links?

No, I didnt experience any problems with those tires, They ride just fine , and dont bulge out. I was just wondering if the larger sidewall would be a problem. I looked on the bf goodrich site, and the recomended rim size is 7-9". Sorry about not having any better pics.

yes they will fit on 7" wide wheels. have done it many times on my 79 z28. now the question should be will they fit on the car without rubbing. maybe. i currently run 255/60-15 on my 86 TA. on the factory 7" wheels. no problems. the 275 are about 1/2" taller and 3/4" wider. that may be a problem.

I've got a set of centerline auto drag wheels in 15x7, and was looking to get some drag radials, and was thinking about 275/60/15, just for the track
