Trany and rearend... good price?

but i don't know what the "shortened" means. and is that a good buy? this is in canadian funds... since im canadian eh.

Shortened means narrowed; they actually cut the housing and axles down to a narrower width in order to fit wider tires and wheels inside the fenders.

Actually, I don't know the exchange rate but the trans/clutch sounds high and the 12 bolt sounds low to me. In Sacramento I'd expect to get more for that rear than the trans/clutch/bellhousing but possibly it's an odd-ball width that won't work in most cars.

ya i don't want that rearend... but im interested in the trany... do u guys think that 1250 is a good asking price?

I agree the tranny combo is way to high. In my little hometown (US) I would of probably been able to get it all for around $750, cause you don't know how old the tranny and clutch REALLY are, I really don't trust people much these days when they are trying to sell me stuff. I personally wouldn't buy a used clutch, just my opinion though. But a Muncie is good, real good. Check for prices elsewhere on the net too. Good luck
