Now what should I ask for this engine? He is a friend from where I Live and he told me to make him an offer. Any other questions I should ask him? He said it has 6000 trouble free miles on it and all I need is some headers and a battery and I am ready to go.

Judging by that parts list, IF you had a stock shortblock to start with, you would be looking at around $3500 - 4000 to do one similar.. GM crate motors similar are about that price also
Since he is a friend, let your conscience be your guide.. ask him what he wants for it, and deal from there, that way you both end up happy

$3500-$4000 sounds about right to me...

I was hoping for $2,500 or so. These guys are just boostin my stock. http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif Anyways, just make me a reasonable offer. I hardly expect $3,500+ for this motor.
