Check out my sig The Spec Stage III I have is the new 6 puck multi compound disc they are doing. They say its better, but I wouldn't run a stock flywheel with a clutch like this. Espeicaly a re-cut stock one. But thats just me.

>I hear you .
Thats the reason I want to see which fly wheel is best for me .
The problem is : I am using a supercharger and don't know if I should use an aluminum or steel fly wheel .
What is SPEC's web site ?

http://www.specclutch.com When it comes to Alluminum or Steel when it comes to Spec Flywheels, the alluminum is the best choice according to their technicans. They only ever sell steel flywheels for older cars that are alot heavier. They said the alluminum billet will be fine with n20, and forced enduction, etc... Go with Spec Billet Alluminum if you go with their clutch.

I'm planning on buying a spec stage 3 clutch and was going to have my stock flywheel recut... Why is this not a good idea to do?...does using the stock flywheel cause the clutch to wear out sooner. If i'm going to buy a new flywheel also, then i'm already in the mcleod street twin clutch price range...which is a lot better than the spec stage 3 right?

>I have the stage 3 carbon from SPEC and used the stock fly wheel (resurfaced of course) , but with the new engine going in I want to install their steel or aluminum flywheel .
I would buy their steel fly wheel and install it the first time and get it over with instead , or maybe regretting it later (like I do) .
http://www.specclutch.com/specMain.html their website
prices for their Aluminum $399.00 / Steel $239.00

I've also been reading into the flywheel option. I have a SPEC stage 2 clutch kit that I'm installing over the winter and decided on their steel flywheel. For extra insurance take your whole setup to a machine shop and make sure its all balanced correctly.
