NEW DYNO NUMBERS with LT4 hot cam. check it out!!!!!!!

Finally i got soem decent numbers, the mods in ym sig. Also the tempo was about 100 degrees and also I am such a moron my AC was going. I drove the car 20 minutes and did not let it cool and only ran it once. here were the numbers

310 rwhp

323 rwtq

also the AF ratio stayed at about 11 to 1 the whole time up and down a little bit. But what do you guys think. If you remember I was running lean and the culprit was a bad maf. with more tuning what do yuo think is possible. Also tonight I am taking it to the track on slicks. IU have a stock converter though and 2.73 gears. Let me know what you think guys.

madwolf did my tuning,

also hey I got a bit of white smoke near 6000 rpms they said it was condensation or it could be from no cats but what is that?

and bTW the graph gets a little choppier at high rpms not real bad though. I have brand new ignition from opti to plugs. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Did you do the hotcam with stock rockers or with 1.6 roller rockers? I assume stock since you don't mention any. Also are those dual cat headers or single cat?

That is pretty rich, especially compared to the 14.8 you posted the other day. I would think there might be something else wrong because the tune you have is lean enough to get you in the high 12s. Can you send me the new AFR sheet?

I was wondering about the rockers because most of the spec's listed for the hotcam include 1.6 rr's. With d/c headers and your mods and without 1.6 rr's your #'s don't look too bad to me.

Your results should be shown as "SAE Corrected".... this eliminates the effect of temperature, humidity, barometer and altitude. Doesn't correct for a hot motor or parasitic drag though...

madwolf I will send you the AF sheet shouldn't there be about 20 more horses in it with perfect aF/

also i have eddelbrock headers, and no the numbers were not corrected I believe. I thought they were pretty good # despite the rich aF.

ew AFR sheet?

The only thing that I did between the 2 dynos was replace all ignition pieces a new fuel filter and a new mass air stock.

If you get your A/F ratio into the high 12s you should get another 12-15rwhp. Don't go beyond 13:1

i believe the perfect a/f ratio is 12.5 to 1, if your looking for the perfect mixture.

Get the A/F thing sorted out and you should be very happy with the results. I think those numbers are pretty good for still running the stock rockers.
