Scat 383 Crank
Scat 383 Crank
Freshly machined. It has some numbers from the machine shop on it, I think like .010 or something. Has some grinding done to it for balancing, and some weights on it. Person I bought it from said it was internal balanced. Its a SCAT 383 cast crank. I think I read somewhere its 40% stronger than stock, so this would make a good crank for someone who is going to run a 400-500rwhp N/A application. However, I wouldn't recommend it for anything over 500rwhp. I don't know alot about cranks, and I don't really care what its worth.. I'd just like to get $200 out of it. I have ALOT more than that in it. I've sold the rod, pistons, splayed 4 bolt, cc306, and several other pieces out of this motor months ago.. No longer have the car, and need money for the LS1!
Thanks!
p.s. I'd prefer somebody who could meet me to pick it up over shipping, beacuse its heavy.. but I will ship!!
Thanks!

Scat has several different cranks, Is it a forged crank? or a steel crank? Also is it for a one piece seal or 2?
If someone can help me out. Are scat cranks that are forged all 2 piece seals?
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the voucher. I'm sure it could even handle more than your throwing at it. I'm not sure what this costs new, but I know this is probably a good deal, and I need the money so I'm hoping it will go quick!! I now have pics available for anybody who wants them. This would be an excellent piece for a budget 400-500rwhp stroker!!
PIC ME! PIC ME!

I've already got a 400 crank, but it's not ground or anything, and probably not nearly as strong.
