58mm t/b gains on 12.5:1 383 stroker
how much gain sould be felt right now my motor is a 12.5:1 383 with a hotcam and approx 260 cfm heads. i am going to buy a 58mm t/b and am wondering what kind of gains to expect over a stocker?
Y did you get such a little cam for such a big motor? You won't gain much unless you port the front of the runner. X CAM 230/236 would really make that motor come alive

I live in Ontario and the car has to be emissions friendly.
I wish I could run a bigger cam and pass a sniffer test! the intake is ported to 58mm?
People pushing the limits have shown gains in the 20-25RWHP range.
Jordon Musser,Christian Millard(?), and I have all shown gains enough to warrant full time use.
Christian has the best data. Back to back dyno runns with in minutes of each other showing 20+ RWHP on a H/C car. I gained 25RWHP when I changed from a modified stock TB to a LPE 58mm TB. Jordon went as far a a mono blade(1300CFM?) and was still picking up HP.
With the cubic inches you have If you push your motor much you will show gains with the 58MM tb.
