If so, how many degrees does the timing advance when the PCM activates the EGR?

What RPMS and throttle conditions does the EGR open?

If you block off the EGR is it correct to pull a little bit of timing to compesate for it being blocked?

I also have a post in the computer section but that doesn't seem to get very much traffic and I thought someone helpfull might see this in lt1 tech.
