Hey guys, assuming the bottom end was built up for it, and I had an adequate fuel system (Aeromotive) would this combination work?

I'm thinking of an NX or TNT kit, but since I'm a novice when it comes to the use of nitrous I'll need some input. I know the kits have just the basic items, there's still other things i need to get, switches, retard boxes, etc. etc.

The car will have a hotcam, 1 5/8" shorty headers, forged bottom end, and an Aeromotive fuel system... clutch is more than capable. (I hope)... thanks.

Any ideas on the power? It should make about 370rwhp not running on the juice. 100/150 shot? I know its a lot different on a forced induction car, but as long as the car can handle it, thats fine.

:death:

You need to be VERY careful with tuning, timing, race gas, safety precautions, etc....

You may want to check into water or alky injection to go along with that.

My question is why not just run more boost or just use nitrous with a bigger shot?

That was my though about skipping the supercharger and just using the nitrous. With a 150 shot, should be fine I assume... I can't run race fuel.

However, what about the hotcam, I need to pass emmisions and that kit is spot on with tuning, but how well does it work with nitrous?

Probably get away with just new bearings and forged pistons instead of a whole new bottom end?
