Question Mtx 81000d Vs Mtx 1501d

Is their any real difference between these amps besides the fact they have different covers? I was wondering because I want to get a 1501D but the price on the 81000D has been dropping so I might just save myself some $$$$$ and get the 81000D. So like I said is their any real difference between these amps worth say the $200 difference in price?

Thanks,

Chris

Pretty much the same amp the 1501D is just the new model, that's why the price is so different.

dont get the jbl, i think they suck, the 1501 is supposed to have require a little more current but they are preety similar power wise, obviously the design of the amps is different

JBL"S BLOW

jbl is a cheap brand, Id rather stick with mtx although they cost too much money per watt. GO with rockford fosgate (NOT ROCKWOOD), Alpine, jl audio, or Kicker. I gaurantee that these amps are closer to their power ratings than a pos jbl.
