OK, my clutch is toast, what should I buy??

The car slips through 1st gear and a bit on the 1st to 2nd gear shift so what do you guys think? With the mods in the sig and also I go to the drag track at least a few times a month. I will be having Nittor 555Rs installed tomorrow too. I want something that is going to hold the power, and for sure ported heads in the future and possibly even nitrous at some point. On the other hand it needs to be somewhat streetable because the car is mostly a daily drive during the week. Thanks

I am jelous at your times, I have a little more mods than you and all I could get was a 13.5 w/ the same 60' time as you trapping one mile an hour less, but I don't have my PCM tuned

anyways, your main question, all I can say is you get what you pay for, I payed for a 299.99 Heavy duty Ram clutch, IMO the stock clutch held better than this piece of crap, so I upgraded to the Spec Stage 3 carbon clutch...A HUGE differance...just remember you get what you pay for...

Dont worry get your computer tunned by Bryan at pcmforless.com and your car will really wake up. I went 13.53@103.5 before tunning and then with the tunning/lt4km and 160stat I went 13.16@107. Car runs a ton better too.

As far as the clutch issue goes im looking to spend maybe $500 at the very most. I will be doing the install myself. Thanks

Get a Star Spec clutch from Darren at info@sybersport.com

Tell him Grip sent you and he'll get you a deal.

Go to www.pcmforless.com and check out what pricing would be. It depends what you want done, how you want it done, and what year your car is. For me it was $100 I believe and then I was charged extra upfront so Bryan would send me a PCM and then I would send mine back and get a refund. This way I had about 5min. of downtime. Bryan is busy but he's a class act and does great work for the price.
