i just did a cam swap and my car feels as if it should be better

plugs are cheap... I'd change them out. Many go for the TR-55 by NGK. I went with the Bosch +4 plugs. Seem to be fine.
It is very easy to just tap the porcelin (white part) of the plug and get a microscopic crack! I did that to two of them... since you are up and it is dark outside... I'd pop the hood and start the car in a very dark spot. Peep your head around the engine and keeping all things away from any moving parts (belt). You may see faint blue sparks around your plugs... that is a sure indicator that they are cracked. Mine were on #4 and #8 but I never knew. Car idled ok...
During the day, I'd also check for vacuum leaks.
