Re: Lowering Springs
A lot of people really like Strano springs.
We have the Bilstein suspension option on our '02 SS and it uses Eibach springs. It rides really, really rough. It's very, very stiff. Eibach made a bunch of different springs though and the spring rate on those may be different from what we have...
Whatever you choose you need to get the wheel alignment redone after you change the springs or your tire wear will be uneven.

Re: Lowering Springs
I think the eibach springs (whatever we have) are rough as heck and would be terrible for a daily driver.
I've never been in a car with Strano springs, but a ton of people on ls1tech.com have them. They seem to work really well with Koni shocks.

Re: Lowering Springs
You might want to add a "Signature", with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. Based on your parts links, we can ASSume you have a 93-97 LT1.

Re: Lowering Springs
i lowered mine with intrax springs and tokico shocks which were only like $150 for the 4 shocks, and the ride was pretty rough, the roads being so bad I have now put the stock springs back on the rear.
I suggest that if you really want to do it research strano and koni set-up because I'm sure that is the best out there but ofcourse it will cost you a little more, but if it's worth doing it's certainly worth doing right.
I also suggst that you get a strut tower brace and maybe some sub frame connectors to compliment the stiffer suspension.

Re: Lowering Springs
If your '95 Z28 is truly stock and unmodified... why not leave it that way? Some people on here might disagree with me, but I really like the spring/shock setup on the stock Z28s. These cars are getting old and rare anyway, so it's kind of nice to see them without any mods.

Re: Lowering Springs
ive thought about keeping it all original because like you said its hard to find that now
engine wise its bone stock. about to put a SLP intake on though. ive done a few appearance mods. blacked out taillights side markers and turn signals. everything can easily be changed back to the original
