Looks like a modern Shelby Cobra, but I've never liked Cobras. It'd look better with different side mirrors for sure! Some chrome round ones on stalks.

American "tuner" cars and conversions look more and more like European cars every time.

To "round" for me, but I'd take a Mallet Sky in a heart beat.

An LS7 in that would kick some serious ***! I've seen a couple Solstice around town here, and I really like the way they look(especially black and red). Add some power to those things, considering how light they are, I think these things are pretty cool. If I had to go for a compact-type car, the solstice would be it, or maybe a Cobalt.

I'm mixed on the body styling. But the engine option, you can't go wrong.

Hey... be nice to the cobalt lol. The sc'd one is pretty quick, and I like the styling of them. Not like I'm going to go out and buy either one of them, but if I had to choose a car in that category it would probably be one of them.

the supercharged Cobalt is a nightmare. I drove one at an autocross event and went straight through the cones . I hit the gas and at low RPM it was barely moving, but when it climbed I went "holy crap!" around a turn and straight through the cones. I definitely experienced a very heavy amount of understeer!

At least it's still a Chevy! Except I don't like FWD vehicles.

On the other hand even in their stock form the Sky Redline/Solstice GXP have 260hp, 260 lb/ft of torque, do 0 to 60 in 5.5sec. and 0.90g on the 300' skid pad. They are a little heavy at ~3,000 lbs., but I bet you could shed a few hundred pounds pretty easy. I haven't seen anything specific, but I'll bet the turbo's NOT max'ed out either.

wow i didnt know those cars were that heavy! O_O They look easily around 2500lbs. guess that was way off lol. Either way like you said i bet a good tune on that turbo and some good downpipes would up the anty quite a bit really fast, just like the SRT-4 neons and subaru STI's. oh well.. still beautiful cars, especially the sky, ive seen a few on the road and fall in love everytime, they just look so agressive.
