1994 3.4L V6 Exhaust Tip?
I doubt i am in the right section but here goes..
I have been thinking about getting a borla exhaust tip right here http://www.lmperformance.com/4697/14.html
I have a flowmaster 80 series and on it now is just a L shaped pipe no tip. Where the exhaust comes out its cut at an angle pointing toward the ground. I go outside to measure how far the tip would stick out.. 6inches seems to short but 9 seems far and it might stick out. Pictures of my car on my signature.
I just have a couple questions...
1. How far should i go? 6inches or 9inches
2. If i had the tip stick straight out. It would hit the bumper and is impossible.
3. How much would it cost for a muffler shop to weld it on for me?
4. Would they cut the piping from the flowmaster out to the exit so the tip would fit?
Any comments would be helpful thank you

I would say get the 9" and have a shop put it on; they will cut the pipe, or put a whole new one on altogether.
Get your tips done right the first time, don't half *** them because of cost. Mine stick straight out as do a lot of F-body owners. That kind of tip turned down would look really weird.
The reason I say get the 9" is because that gives the shop extra room to work with the pipe. If its too long, they can easily cut something.
