The engine this replaced had a melted number 1 piston. Yes I said melted. I got it like that and didnt find out until I got it home and drove it for a few weeks. Even with a bad piston it still ran hard. I could do a burnout for 2 blocks. Thats how well a chevy small block can stand up to any engine
