Did all 1996-2002 Camaro SS have with grey ZR1's have the same center caps? Or did the 1996-1997 have a different center cap than the LS1 SS's?

Would this be the correct center cap for my car?

 

I put a set of ZR1's together a while back from the junk yard. Two of them were off of a 96-97 SS and the other two came off of a 98+ SS. Upon looking at them I noticed they both had different finishes. The 96-97 wheels were more of a straight silver and the 98+ ones looked a shade darker and had metallic in them. I really don't think that you would even be able to notice the difference in the cantercaps though.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I bought my car with Chrome OE Concepts ZR1's and Chrome SLP SS Center Caps. Been thinking about picking up a set of stock wheels for it for car shows in the future.

If anyone has a good picture of 1996-1997 ZR1's in clear sunlight I'd love to compare it to the ZR1's I bought of a 1999 Camaro SS for my previous Camaro.

 

Yes for a 1996 or 1997 SS. 98+ SS/ZR1 wheels had a red bowtie on silver center cap. 96-97 had black lug nut covers, 98+ were silver. Can't comment on the wheel color differences. HTH
