I know, right. They look hot. I was leaning towards some Bogarts but I may have changed my mind. I would like to know what the construction is and what they weigh. Oh yeah, I guess I should read closer. According to this they are in line with competing wheel weights, although Bogarts are a lil lighter.http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=471204
Designed for the street or strip the new Street Lite wheel is SFI 15-1 approved, light weight, and features an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio.
Street Lite Wheels:
• Accept mag shank lug nuts
• Combine polished & machined finishes for an aggressive look
• Use bolt-on center caps w/ counter sunk allen screws
• Feature rotary forged aluminum centers
• Feature a 360˚ welded 2-piece construction
• Are super light weight (15x4 = 10.5 lbs.)
• Use spun aluminum rims for high strength & superior run-out
I wonder if all "forged wheels" just have a forged center?
