I have a guy selling some rear silver 17x11 ZR1 Style rims with Nittos (315's) and am very interested in buying them. However I have heard that they will not work without rubbing on the rear fender lips when driving and hitting bumps.. Is this the case? The guy selling them says no but my buddies that own a shop said probably... Thanks Guys..

 

Depends.... If they are real ZR1 17x11 they will not fit w/o rolling the inner fenders and cutting the bump stops. They do make 17x11 ZR1 Type wheel with the proper backspacing to fit the Camaro with no mods. But if they have the corvette BS you'll need to do the mods.....

 

even if they are the camaro ones you will still need to do mods. Mine rubbed on the fender lips with a 2" drop. I rolled them but its still annoying.

 

This is untrue. Every car is different. They may fit on some cars without doing a thing, or you may have to pound the fender and roll the lip. They should fit with little to no work as long as they're the GS offset.
