While shopping around for new wheels I've noticed a few sets of white salad shooters. I'm used to seeing the alluminum alloy type. I was wondering if anyone knew when they were offered, anything special they were offered with, and if that's paint or what. In short... what's the deal with the white salad shooters?

 

I don't think these were ever a factory option. They are most likely aftermarket wheels.

 

Sorry but it does not matter what color they are because salad shooters are fugly.

 

salad shooters are ugly, and IMO so are colored rims(black, white, gold, etc.) so,
Salad Shooters + White Paint = 2x as ugly.
But then again that is just my opinion.

 

They came on 93 Z28 pace cars.
ANd even if they never came on a car in white, they would most likely be factory wheels, just painted. i doubt any aftermarket would make those wheels on purpose.
So either they are from a 93 pace car, but most likely just been painted/powder coated white

 

 

Yeah as he mentioned they did come Stock on the '93 Pace Car Z28s. RKSport offers them I noticed so I guess some companies offer them as replicas

 

Ive never seen your car before. Atleast noit with the ZR-1s. that looks so awsome. I love it! I, for one, love white wheels, as long as they are on the rigt coloured body

 

I agree... that pacecar looks about 10000 x better with the White Zr-1's
