White Haze on '02 WS6 wheels

Hi All,
I bought the car used and I think the previous owner messed up the wheels. The 2 front wheels have a white haze on them after I am done cleaning (only used water on them). The back wheels shine very nice. All wheels are WS6 wheels. I am not sure if these are clear coated polished aluminum or just polished aluminum. Either way, can someone let me know if they can be fixed and how?
Thanks

No, I havent tried anything yet. I didnt want to do anything that would make them worse. I have only used water so far. I only need water for the rear wheels. Any ideas?

Powedercoat high polished wheels? Why? Get a thing of metal polish and go polish the wheels, you are seeing oxidation. Alot of people go against polished wheels since you actully have to maintain them to keep them looking good.

That would work , if the WS6 wheels werent clearcoated . what he's seeing is the clearcoat that hazed over . Aluminum polish wont do a thing for that

Try a heavy compound . The wheels will look look like total crap after using a heavy grit compound . Then youll have to bring the luster back with a pure polish . Just like you would do with the paint on a car . If that doent work the strip the clear off and have the wheels re-cleared or have them clear powder coated .

sorry man , not a easy fix .
