what color rims would go well with my white Z28? car is stock on the outside except for a billet grille, clear corners, and i removed my badges. i really want to sell my stock 16'' chrome rims and get some 18'' rims but i cant decide on a color. any pics or suggestions are appreciated.

 

Some black Z06 motorsports or ZR1 grandsports would look nice. I was gonna get some black wheels for my car but decided on chrome, probably z06 motorsports, but one reason was cuz i couldn't find them powdercoated, they were all painted. But another reason was that if i did decide to go with black rims, then the only color i would be able to use for stripes if i ever decided to get any, then they would have to be black. And that wouldn't look bad but silver/pewter and black is a common combo, i was thinkin Pewter w/hugger orange stripes kinda like the one in the Readers Rides section, the one where it says join now on the left hand margin thing. If u ever plan on gettin stripes and don't want black, then don't do the black wheels, just stick with chrome and keep ur options open for the future........of course u could just sell them and buy new ones if u wanted.

 

I wouldn't suggest going with black rims with a white car. I did it on my white '00 Z28 and didn't like the look:

It might depend on the rims u choose to do it to, but i've seen a white car with black rims, can't remember where the picture was but it looked really nice, i'll try and find it for u. But remember u can't really go wrong with chrome.
