where can i get these wheels?
where can i get these wheels?
retopic
i'm looking for 18's for my car, i really like the look of the 99+ c5 wheels, especially in machined black.

what width do they come in? i'm guessing they are genuine vette wheels? tbyrne only offers 17x8.5, but i want 18x9.5 at least for the front, and 10+ for the rear.
what offset would i need, and spacing info? i'm not very knowledgable in wheel sizing
thanks.

Re: where can i get these wheels?
They sell them on ebay, often called "y2k corvette" wheels. I've seen that picture recently, and if memory serves, those wheels are a one-off that the owner did himself. I haven't seen all black y2k's for sale, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Ones I've seen on ebay are black with a machined alum face - maybe that's what you're looking for.
Check out the ones on ebay - you'll find that a common package offered for F-bodies is 17x8.5/56mm front with 18x9.5/65mm rear.
You can also get y2k's in 18x9.5 with a 54mm offset that will fit on the front, unlike the 65mm. I've never seen any y2k's wider than 9.5", but once again that doesn't neccessarily mean they're not out there.
They're nice wheels... the only thing that I don't like about them is that, with the open design (thin spokes), the y2k wheels make the stock F-body brakes look small, especially the 18"s. Ofcourse, if you've got aftermarket brakes...
