What is the biggest tire i can fit in the rear on a 95 camaro width and side wall Rim size is 18X9.5 any advice is appreciated

The widest tire you can put on a 9.5" wide wheel is typically a 285/35-18 (26.1" outside diameter).

Whether that tire will rub on anything will be determined by the offset of the wheel. If you are in the range of 40 - 56mm offset, you shouldn't have any problems. The 40mm offset will put the outside edge of the wheel/tire near the outside edge of the fender. The 56mm offset will move the outside edge of the wheel/tire deeper into the wheel well.

What kind of tires are you thinking about going with?

I got a set of Michelin Pilot MXM4s awhile back (Michelin Pilot MXM4 Tires at SimpleTire.com) and could not be happier with them. Great ride, handling, stable, excellent road manners.
