Just curious what kind of tires yall use and how well they hook up. Ive got some Toyos and they did pretty well with a stock motor but now Ive got about 405rwhp and I want a pretty good tire that I can drive on everyday and will do pretty good on hookin up. I dont really want any ET Streets or any major DR because Ill be drivin on them alot.

 

I personly like the Nitto 555s.I have Yokos on mine right now,but they don't seem to hook as well as the Nittos did.

 

I use Nitto NT555s on my Z06s and BFG DRs on my salad shooters. The Nittos do great for me and I'm sure they'll still do the job when I'm running that kind of power next year. I dont know how everyone else drives but I'm fairly conservative in how I drive, so those tires are fine for me.

 

How much power are yall putting to the wheels? They hook up pretty good on heavy acceleration?

 

I'm putting down a little over 350 hp and they hook really well.In the corners they stick like glue.
When they are cold they tend to spin but,once they are warmed up they do the job well.

 

I'm using firestone firehawk sz50ep, seems to be doing well for me, great in the rain.

 

How much power yout puttin to the wheel?

 

Kumho 712's in the front and Goodyear F1 GS-D3's in the rear.

I'd like to have a matching set of tires, but they almost brand new and were on the wheels when I bought them, so I'll get a matching set once these wear out.

Unless I can get a very good price for a set of BFG KDW's, the next set will then be Kumho 712's.
