what is the biggest wheel and tire I can put on a stock 94 TA ?
Hi
I have an annivesary 94 TA that has white wheels size 16 inch. I would like to get some chrome or polished wheels and new tires on my stock suspension
I was wondering if anyone could suggest the largest tires and rims that will fit. I also need suggestions as to whether to put smaller rims and tires on the front and larger on the rear, again I want them to fit the stock wheel wells.

You can fit up to 18x11, maybe taller, on the rear, and the same on the front with some work.
Im going with 17x11 on the rear and 17x9.5 on the front, which is about as big as you can go without any modification i believe.

do you guys think that there would be any problems with putting 18x10's on the front. I bought a set of 4 18X10 wheels for my car from a friend who had them on his T/A. He had 275/35/18 Pilot's on them and from what i can tell i don't see any kind of rubbing on the tire. I am going to just put 275/35/18 Kumho MX's on them but i was wondering if i went to a different tire would that make it rub at all. I have "heard" or people saying that they know people with 18x11's on the front but never saw it myself.

well thats the same size tire im running on my 18x9.5's in the front... sooo i dont think you'll have much of a problem. as for the rear id bump up the tire size seeing how you have 10" rims

It's not so much the diameter as much as it's the offset and width of the wheel. I can tell you that a 50mm offset 11" wide wheel with fit, both front and rear with minor inner wheel well banging in the rear, and a 1/4" spacer in the front.
I use a 36mm offset 11" wheel in the front with no spacer and use 315/35-17's. In the rear I use a 50mm offset wheel with a 1/4" spacer in the rear with 315/35-17's.

Will I lose performance on my car if I have the mods listed in my sig with 17x11 in the back and 17x9.5 in the front? I want to get black ZR1's. I also want to get some nice drag radials for the back.

What do you mean lose perfomrance?? I like having 17x9.5 all the way around you can still rotate your tires. 17 inch wheels I think will be heavy and increase your unsprug weight......but 17's are worth it.....

I use 17x11's with 315's all the way around and while it might add some extra weight, it's worth it to me because of the increase braking and cornering. I would never go back with anything smaller. It's my daily street car and autocrosser.
But I'm not a drag racer. You will gain more traction (depending or tire selection) because of the increased width but you will add a few pounds, not much though.
I would try to use the same size and offset front and rear to make rotation easy.
