Weight of Stock vs A few aftermarkey wheels
Weight of Stock vs A few aftermarkey wheels
Hi, I am looking into getting some 17x9.5 rims for my 2000 Z28 and have basically three choices that I like.
17X9.5 ZR-1 rims in gunmetal grey. The are sold by O.E. WHEEL DISTRIBUTORS LLC and have a 56mm offset. Cost for this set is $470 plus about $120.

Performance Wheel Outlet has the Cobra R 280 Rims for $187 a piece polished

Lastly, Discount Tire Direct has the Torque Thrust. Mustang Bullitt type rims gunmetal grey for $175 plus free shipping. 45mm Offset

Any ideas on the wieght penalty and quality of these rims? Thanks for any help in advance

Re: Weight of Stock vs A few aftermarkey wheels
they are all quality wheels form what i hear. Not sure on the weight tho, but it will take more power to turn them, no matter how much they weigh.
