Re: waxing chrome??

all chrome is waxed before leaving the plating place and its a good idea to keep doing it

Re: waxing chrome??

On my white powdercoated SS wheels, I discovered a way to help w/ the brake dust. I went over them w/ the Mothers Billet (very fine), and then 3-4 good coats of Z5, then a couple of coats of Z2.

This helped extremely well, and since they are white, it was a huge help, especially at shows. I could just take a wet towel, or Z6 and wipe them right off, and that includes inside the wheel.

I am assuming chrome would be about the same way.

It would work well for about 6 months at a time.

Yea, another reccommendation to do it. I do it to my exhaust tips, rims (stock salads though), and while I'm at it, I wax the windows too.
