looking to buy vette rims for the 99 z28 which is black with RS bodykit, thinking 17's however thinking about doing 18 X 9 1/2 00 vette rims in the back, and 17 X 8 1/2 or 9 1/2 on the front...obviously same style/color...just an inch bigger in back and possibly a little skinnier in the front...anyone done this or have pics? that size work...and then the tires i was looking at are 275/40zr18's on the back...work? on the front don't know what size yet...info needed please, i am new so please don't say search, cause i tried, but no details so...thanks

they'd fit, but why not go with 18x9.5" all the way around?

 

when you see the price of tires, you are gonna want the same size all aroound to rotate

 

i was basically wondering what it looked like since two of my friends with newer supras did it...seeing if it would look badass...now 17's or 18's, i had 17's on my probe and 18's on my GTP so...can't complain about tires...18's too heavy for a modded car or 17's look better with some fatter tires...

 

Definately go with 18x10.5 on all 4

I wouldn't even consider 17's

 

I've got 17x8.5 or 9 all the way around and they look fine. 245's up front and 275's in the rear. i'll post some pics when i can.
