Tires??
Tires??
I've got some 17" SS wheels on the way for my 2002 Z28 and now am considering tires.
First of all, should I go with the 275 or 245 size? The 275's would look better but would they do anything to acceleration?
Secondly, is there a brand that some of you have had good luck with? I live in Oklahoma, so snow isn't too much of a problem. We get, on average, about 9" a year. I want a good tire without breaking the bank, so that leaves out such tires as Michelin Pilots. Has anybody had luck with Kumhos? I put them on my wife's Grand Prix and thought they were great.
Thanks

275/40/17 is the size to get. same size that came on ws6/ss cars
i have(had) the yokohama avs es100's on my Z06 wheels, granted, i only had them on for a month, they seemed to handle pretty well on the curves. Not many people are pleased by Kumhos'. they are a good tire for the money though, but many would recommend shelling out extra money for a better tire

If you have to drive all year around, especially in the rain and snow, you will prob want a real good all season tire. I recommend the BFG KDWS. I had them(just got KDW) and thought they were excellent in the rain and a great all around tire. Very good balance.
