is there really a difference?

Is there really any difference in after market replica Z06's? There are a bunch of sellers out there, like AFS, lakeshore, discount rim, OE wheels....
Is the finish different on every seller?, weight?.....

I would figure the only real difference would be an offset and price?

....I am about to order some polished from AFS

The replica wheels typically have an offset that is correct for the Camaros and Firebirds instead of the Corvette offset, which if I remember correctly, requires spacers for use on F-bodies.

I wouldn't be surprised if the factory wheels had better build quality than the replicas.

I'm sure the replicas are fine, though.

Yeah, the stockers are probably better quality.

Anyone have a preference of a replica dealer? Warranty and stuff like that?

I am almost definately getting AFS wheels, even though they are a little more expensive.....all I have heard is good things from them.

I have AFS polished ZR1's and they look amazing and the quality looks second to none vs other brands, I dont blame you for going with AFS.

You really gotta be careful in what company you choose. The rims I have were poorly made, the chrome started peeling within 6 months of having them.

I got my Z06 wheels from OE wheels on eBay. I've had them for over a year now and they still look good. No problems with the chrome.

Some are made in China, some are made here. The Chinese replicas are naturally crappier.
