See? Jason knows I'm just playing around with this. It's no big deal.. I just find it funny. But I am annoyed with the people that use the juvenile, Master P-ish, bling bling term "rims" when describing a wheel.

The only reason I'm quoting you so much is because you're not making much sense, and I'm having difficulty trying to figure out what position you are taking.

So when you hear of someone building a motor,,, you assume they're building an electric motor, even though 'engines' have been called motors for decades?

Or better yet, you read a reference to someone bangin' through the gears you think of some guy in a shop wailling on a transmission with a sledge hammer..... LOL....

I'm just messin' with ya.... I think it's interesting how certain things annoy different people. I call it slang myself, some people dig it, some don't. Personally it's irrelevant to me.

Mike

Im not making sense? Im just saying i dont know what the big deal is. I see a wheel as the whole thing....including tires. I just didnt know it makes me sound 'juvenile' and it offends people when i say 'rim' instead of wheel

thanks...I really like them too and theyre probably the cheapest 17" rim out lol. The only thing is that they dont come wider than 8" and i think they dont look that great from angles coz they dont fill up the wheel well. Which is why im buying 17x11" TTIIs this summer

TTII's are nice. about 20 minutes ago i just purchased a set of 2001 chrome vette wheels. i like the thin-spoke look and for the price there isn't an aftermarket wheel out there i could have had that look as good!
i really like that 89GTA too, i've never seen a gunmetal one i actually liked but yours is so clean

AMEN! Someone shares this common thought with me! I even use that slang term for engines every once in a while when just goofing around - but when it gets serious - its an engine.

e.g. WOW! He's got a big motor (said in a funny voice usually - as in reference to an engine with a blower, big cam...you know the type).

I'm gonna have to rebuild my engine - it's not holding any oil pressure. - or - What size engine is in your car. (Although with all these new hybrids - I guess it WILL become - so - what size motor you got under the hood there buddy? Is that a Reliance Electric 2XP44M?

Sorry - just noting my feelings since everyone else got too.

Man...you guys are too damn uptight.

Call it motor, call it mill, call it whatever. Call it "rim". Heck, when you are having new tires put on, call it a "rim job" for all I care.

Just don't eat my pizza or drink my beer and there really isn't any thing else that really matters, right?

(Wow...I have been hanging around Johnny Ray too much.)

to - too
their - there - they're
hear - here
