Telstars on 3rd gen

Alright so I bought my car a couple of years ago with 15x8 telstars(rear) and 15X6 telstars(front) on it. I measured the backspacing of my rears once and swore it was 5'' but when I went to go with a taller tire it would rub on the fender overhang. Am I going to have to bend that overhand up? Right now I am running a 265 50 and want to get some M/T's at 275 50 When I went to put them one they were going to rub on every bump. I found someone to buy my wheels because that 265 50 is all that will fit and they don't need a taller tire. Can anyone tell me the correct backspacing for a 3rd gen with telstars. I want to stick with an 8" wide wheel on the rear but I want to go down to a 4" on the front. If anyone could give me some info that would be great. Thanks.

5 inchs is as big of a back space telstars have you cant move them in any further than that, if you want to run a 275 50 your going to have to roll the lip on the fender, I had got 15x10 with a 5 inch back spacing for my car but I narrowed the rear 2 inches a side so I could run a 10 inch wheel.
