Stripped wheel lock

So the last time I put my wheels on I must have over tightened one of my lug nut locks. Today I tried removing the nut and ended up stripping it and breaking any of the lock tuners I tried. Then I went to NTB and Pep Boys to see if they could remove it, but the tool they use to break off the locks wouldn't fit in the wheel. So I was wondering if anybody here has dealt with the same problem, and could point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Go to any Tire place they have tools to remove bolts that have been damaged.

The lug nuts are too recessed in the wheel for their tools to fit in.
These are the wheels BTW

If it is an externally locking nut go to the hardware store and buy a GatorGrip socket.

A mechanic I know tried that today, and it didn't work. That thing is stuck, so this weekend I plan on drilling out the stud, and I'm going to pick up a torque wrench to avoid this problem in the future.

Problem is now fixed. Now I was curious if anyone knew what to torque the lugs to?

It's 70 - 80 lb/ft, and I use a little anti-sieze on the studs.

I've encountered not exactly as that but the same as that problem you had. I still looking for answers. I hope that we can solve our problem efficiently.

A lot of places don't recommend torquing a locking lug nut- they aren't always designed for it.

When I had one get stripped I welded a lugnut on the end of it and it came right off.
