Street Lites?

Billet Specialties has made a really sweet drag wheel that is supposed to have amazing streetablity. Anybody running them or know anyone running them on their cars? I am highly considering buying a set.

Don't know anyone running them yet, but I just ordered a set this week. If you're interested, contact Larry at: http://www.larryhodgeracing.com/ as he is one of Billet Specialties dealers and seems to have more wheels in stock than anyone else. In addition to that, he is offering a pretty good deal if you purchase 4 wheels. My cost was $929 delivered for the set.

I have seen them on a Firebird on LS1tech and they looked amazing. I more or less just want to know if they fit without any modification (spacers, grinding, hammering....) What sizes did you go with? Post some pics when you get them on.

Fronts: 15" x 3.5" with 1.75" back spacing (will probably need to use a 5/16" spacer)

Rears: 15" x 10" with 7.5" backspacing

They should not require any more "modifications" to the car than any other wheels this size.

***UPDATE***

I just finished test fitting a pair of 15" x 10" Billet Specialities Street Lite wheels on my '96 Camaro. I have not modified or ground anything on the car and it appears that these rims fit without a problem. The back spacing is 7.5". The bump stop does appear to be really close to the inside lip of the rim, but that is experienced with any rim this size with 7.5" of back spacing.

Once again, this on an '96 LT-1 car. Nothing has been checked on the '98 of newer LS-X cars.
