Has anyone ever seen a pic of the silver zr-1's with a polished lip? i was wondering how that would look. it wouldnt even have to be polished up like chrome, just enough to set the difference. just a thought. I want some more poor mans rims and would like to pick up some 17x9 ss 5 spokes. I don't really know if want black with a polished lip on my black car, but i'm not sure about gunmetal either. I want it to look nice. i guess i could also add gunmetal colored overlays to the z28 emblems to match the wheels? I'm just tossing things around. the 17x9 Ss 10 spokes are getting old to me. thanks

 

okay, before i try this, anyone have any objections to how the looks will be?

 

My SS has satin finish ZR1 wheels and the lip is polished. I personally think they look good. My car is black as well. I want Chrome wheels myself. But I have to be very picky since I have C5 front brakes on my car now.

My black SS has the satin wheels with the polished lip also. I also have a set of chrome Zr1 wheels I tried on. I like the satin on the black better. I think the chrome take the something away from the car. I put the chrome wheels back on my Trans Am till I can find something I like better.
