Rims for a Silver z28

I've been searching around for a long time now in search of a nice set of 17 inch rims for my silver z but I've had no luck. The chrome 16 inch rims on there now look puny compared to the size of the fender wells. I'm stuck between silver or black? any suggestions or pics would be great.

I'm not a huge fan of black wheels, but i absolultely love them on a silver car. specifically the silver ls1 cars. there's one tooling around my area that looks nice. get some zr1's and paint them black with the polished lip. black "Z28" badges look great with them

I'm a huge fan of either polished or silver ZR1s on the silver F-cars. Not normally a huge chrome fan, but silver can pull it off nicely IMO.

I would go with gunmetal myself. I put them on my silver 97, and would have to say they look great. There is a good contrast between the silver of the car, and the dark gray of the wheels. The black would also look good. I would look at both and you decide.

I say go with silver. I also recommend you get the entire wheel to go with the rims.

Re: Rims for a Silver z28

I first had silver SS rims, then, I had silver Konig Monsoons, now I have Gunmetal Grey Z06 rims on my Silver 95 Z28. And go figure, I am ready to change wheels again. I say go silver personally. I have had countless complements on my Gunmetal Grey Z06 wheels, but I just like the silver ones better. I will try to post some pictures for you of my Z later today.

Not to offend anyones opinion, but I hate black rims on pretty much everycar! Especially the light colored ones like silver and white.

Oh, I meant to say wheels for anybody that didn't understand what rims meant, in a "wheel/tire" forum. I have not been able to find any pics of gunmetal wheels on a 93-97 silver z-28. I'm leaning towards silver zr1's but I wonder how the gunmetal zr1's would look?

Sorry the ZR1's aren't on a silver one. But you can at least see how the Gunmetal Grey Z06 rims would look on a silver Z. (mine )

I have ROH RTs on my Z. I got them in Black Ice finish. It looks great on the silver car. Not to flashy like chrome.
