I am going to be buying rims when I get my tax moneys. I was searching OE Wheels LLC. and I think I have narrowed it down to 2 choices and I would like your guys opinion. Im torn between the C5 deep dish, black face, polished lip or the C6 Z06 same black face, polished lip. Both 17" and 18" staggered.

The color of my Z is the Dark Forest Green Metallic. But I will be painting the car this summer. Same green but with a copper metallic in it instead of the sliver metallic.

What is everyone opinions on this choice? Does anyone have any other ideas that I may not have thought of yet? This is such a hard decision for me and I still need to choose a set of tires to fit these.

 

Just my opinion .... I don't like the black wheels with the polished lip but that's me
however I do like the chrome wheels with black inserts / or paint the inserts same color as your car
The only opinion that really matters is the one who is putting up the cash !!

Im kinda leaning toward the Z06's just because of the spoke pattern, kinda reminds me of the salad shooters, cept straight spokes. Also the black part of the rims will be refinished to Mercedes Black Diamond Metallic to match the black exterior pieces of the car.

Either that or I just had another idea. Get them in chrome and do the black chrome look. Maybe. Good thing the stupid IRS is holding off until the 30th to let e-files go through. Gives me time to think and get opinions.

I know that the final choice will be mine. I would def like everyones opinion tho.

 

I like the second choice. I used to have a similar set on my black ta so I could be a little biased.

 

Whatever you get, make sure it comes as a complete wheel package. I wouldn't want to buy just the rim.

 

I would cept that I can get tires cheaper than what they offer them for...plus Im not down with the look of the Nexen tires. But thank you for your input.
